A: When you sit in the seat, the passenger air bag turns on.
When the passenger seat is empty, the airbag is turned off. They do this so that you can save money in a crash.
Without a passenger, the airbag will not come out and you won't have to pay for a new passenger airbag. Most new cars have the same feature.

I am looking for the spark plugs for my 05 Kia Sorento, i have took off the cover and literally spent an hour looking for the freaking spark plugs... can anyone give me an idea where they are? or redirect me to a site that shows the schematics that shows whats under the hood of my car?

A: I've never worked on a Kia, and I cannot find any diagrams either... but I did find a photo of the engine compartment via google img search for kia sorento engine.
Looking at it, I'm confident that you will need to begin by removing the large cover on top. Besides, I did find a similar question posted on wiki answers, although it was for a 98, model unnamed. It said, in a nutshell, remove the top cover, then remove something that looks like "jello molds", then in deep recesses, with an extension and a spark plug socket, you will be able to extract the plugs.
In any case, I'm confident that if you remove the cover that has the kia logo, and says "V6", you will at least be able to see where the ignition cables, aka spark plug wires go. If you don't know what they look like, check out http://www.car-stuff.com/images/part_image/mp-spw.jpg. Notice the longer connecting end, that illustrates that the plugs are deep in a hole on top of your engine.

Basically they are similar vehicles, but the Kia is much newer and only has 70,000 miles, whereas the 4Runner has about 120,000. Opinions?
A: I had this choice between a newer Hyundai and an older VW.
I chose the VW, and am VERY pleased with my decision.
I also vote for the Toyota, especially if there's maintenance records for it.

I need an SUV, i currently have a Dodge Neon and I`m having a baby... but with all of the expenses coming along with a child I can`t afford an expensive car... I`m kinda torn because it has an awesome warranty... 10 yrs - 100k.... but my boss (I work for Lexus) says that they have to have a good warranty otherwise nobody would buy em cuz they suck lol... I dunno.... I can`t buy a car through my dealership because of my credit... I have to go wit the Mom and Pop dealerships...
I didn`t say I am low on funds..... I said that I am having a baby..and I would rather have money to save for my childs future.. and I don`t believe in spending 40 to 50k for a brand new car... no car is worth that much to me.. I get a Lexus paid for in 2 years, I am in a program where they pay a lease for me but not until my 4 year mark.... So I`d rather have a cheaper car in the mean time.... make sense?
