A: I don't believe so it seems that they are two completely different designs.... I went to Amazon.com typed in 2002 Kia Sedona Taillight then I typed in 2005 Kia Sedona Taillight.. Check it out for yourself...... Try ebay as well there is also another site that sells strickly tail lamps and headlight covers but I just can't remember the name... Good Luck to you....

Q: Do you have a Kia Sedona?
We were looking to get a used Kia Sedona, between like 2002-2005, 50-75K miles, looking to spen about $3,000-$6,000. If you happen to have one of these vans, how do you like them? Reliable? Nice? Gas mileage? We NEED a van, so what good vans in that price range are there?

A: Kias, are not a car that most people should be looking to buy, is important, and getting something like, for an example Honda Accord has good Fuel efficiency, and will last for a LONG time, and have low maintenance. We had one for about 6 or 7 year, and decided to get a new car, and had only yearly checks just to see if there was a need for repairing. It may not be that sports car everyone wants, but it's good if you have kids.

Q: Which 2005 minivan to buy?
- Dodge Caravan 2005 - Dodge Grand Caravan 2005 - Kia Sedona 2005 - Mazda MPV 2005 Reliability is the most important thing for me. Thanks

A: either dodge caravan or grand caravan when it comes to minivans dodge has the most reliable.

Q: How can I get better gas milage on my minivan?
I have a 2005 kia sedona and have bad gas milage on it in the city.I would like to knw if there is something I can do to get better gas milage . ( maybe add something to the egine or change out the engine to make it ethnol useable? lol :>

A: new spark plugs, clean air filer and properly inflated tires can 15%. Not too bad, keep your windows shut to reduce drag, keep the RPMS below 2000 - you might not make any friends and you'll take a few more minutes to get around, but the savings is another 15%. Also coast in neutral down log hills. It took 2 tanks to get from SF to northern Nevada. I lost my wallet and drove like this all the way back - It only took the remaining 3/4 of a tank . It was like a miracle. Good Luck.

Q: How do I get rid of oil sludge?
I recently took my 2005 Kia Sedona to have it's oil changed. It has been about 14000 since the last one(yes, I know that's bad). The place I took it to refused to do it becasue of "sludge" around the filter and on the dipstick. My car is running fine with no noises. One person has told me to use an engine flush and then change the oil, but the guy at Autozone told me not to b/c that could cause even more problems. He told me to change the oil, then change it again after 500-1000 miles. I am really confused as to how to get rid of it. Please advise!! I looked at the dipstick and could see minimal particles in with the oil. As far as the oil filter, I guess they saw it on the actual filter w/o taking it off. Believe me, I will be much better when it comes to changing my oil on time. I know I am negligent and that my warranties are pretty much out the window. All I am asking for is advice, not a lecture. Thanks to everyone and their advice.

A: The second guy is closer to correct. There really aren't any good oil system cleaners out there, so changing the oil and filter every week/500 miles for about four or five times is a better idea. Keep checking on the "quality" of the oil on the dipstick. This might be a good time to start doing your own oil changes, since the costs will be much less.

Q: my van shakes when i reach about 65 or 70 whats wrong?
my van is a 2005 kia sedona and when i go about 65 it starts to get shaky. and when im stopped at a light or sign there is a little vibration too. does anyone know what could be wrong?

A: Any time you have a problem with vibration at those speed ranges it is usually a tire concern. Most likely the belts on the tires have shifted which would require replacement.

Q: Cracked winshield?
I have a 2005 Kia Sedona and the winshield cracked in 2 places on its own. Anyone else expereince this with the KIA? I saw another one with the same crack as I had and the woman told me it was her 3rd winshield!

A: ask the dealer if there are any recalls on windshield breakage on your car as you have seen another one exactly like yours broke in the same spots and it was her third windshield, having 36 yrs. experience at GM assembly I would say that Kia had a problem in 05 for awhile with body tolerences that wouldn't let the glass fit right.

Q: Whats wrong with my mom's Van?
She has a 2005 Kia Sedona LX! I drive it 3 times a week to Atlanta! Anyway Everytime I start the van it has a knocking sound like its low on oil but the oil light is not on and I check the oil everytime before I start it and its full not overfilled. but then I shut the van off then start it back up there's no knocking sound! What could be wrong?

A: YOUR OIL FILTER DOES NOT HAVE A ANTY FLOW BACK VAVLE IN IT . IT WON'T HURT ANYTHING BUT SUGEST NEXT TIME YOU HAVE THE OIL CHANGED MAKE SURE A GOOD QULITY FILTER IS INSTALED OR IF YOU ARE DOING IT LOOK DOWN THE TREADED HOLE AND LOOK AT THE BOTTOM AND CHECK FOR A OFWITE PLASTIC CURLE ABOUT THE SIZE OF A NICKLE BRAD

Q: tune up on cars?
i have a 2005 kia sedona.....and in only 2 yrs i only put on 14,000 miles on it...should i get a tune up on it now

A: No it is to soon for a tune up. 14,000 is not even broken in yet. On newer cars most spark plugs are good to 100,000 miles. check your owners Manuel to be sure.

Q: How many miles do you have until actually hitting Empty once the Gas Light comes on?
I have a 2005 Kia Sedona and I noticed my Gas Light comes on early, or at least appears that way. The light comes on when my needle is just below half the way between the Quarter of a Tank Line and the Empty Line. I've searched through my manual and all it tells me is that I have 19.8 gal tank. I don't want to risk it and get stranded or anything but it's always good to know exactly how many miles or how much longer you can get by once that light flashes on. LOL I don't intend to my own hands on research. I have about a 25-30 mile drive to and from work and my light came on so I started tracking miles to see how far I could push it so I wasn't late to work. I was just wondering if God forbid I was ever in a situation where I wasn't near a gas station for 20 miles and the light came on...would I make it in my Sedona or would I be parked on the side of the road LOL. Thanks by the way for the great input/answers!

A: the best way to figure that out is to go fill up your tank when the light comes on and see how many gallons of gas it takes, then subtract that total from your 19.8 tank capacity and that will tell you how many gallons are left in your tank when the light comes on. Many cars lights come on when there is about 3 gallons left to give you enough time to find a station. So for an example if your tank is 19.8 gallons and your light comes on and you immediately go to a gas station and fill it up and lets say it takes 16.8 gallons to fill it up so you have 3 gallons remaining in the tank. If your car gets 20 miles per gallon around town you will have 60 miles you can drive before the engine dies from lack of fuel. Of course if you gage is faulty that won't work.

Q: How do I get rid of a vehicle I owe way too much on?
I have a 2005 Kia Sedona minivan. I got really screwed over when I bought it new 3 years ago. We still owe about $17,500 on it. It only books for about $8,900, & tried to trade it & was offered $5,500 (I laughed & waked away, but then found out that is about the going rate) Unfortunately, we are in a position where we HAVE to get rid of it. How do we do this with out getting in even more debt & not have an outrageous payment on whatever vehicle we end up getting?

A: Aside from it being totaled or stolen you're not in a good position.

Q: What is the best way to connect speaker wire from an amp to existing speakers wired to the head unit?
I currently have a JVC KD-HR1 head unit and Alpine SPR-17c and Alpine SPR-69C speakers in place of the factory speakers in a 2005 Kia Sedona. When I get an amp, what is the "best" way to wire the amp to these speakers? I know how to wire an amp to get power, ground, and the RCA's, but do I need to run speaker wire to each speaker from the amp, or can I run the speaker wire to the existing wire behind the head unit? I know the stock speaker wire isn't the greatest, but I am also not looking to blow the windows out either. I want to do it right and be done with it. There are RCA outs for the Front, Back, and Sub with the JVC head unit. At this time I do not plan to add a sub. What do you think? Run new wire to each speaker from the amp, or just run the wire from the amp to the wires behind the head unit? Also, any reasonable suggestions for a practical amplifier that could make these speakers perform to their peak would be appreciated!

A: Yes you can run them to the wires behind the radio with no problem. But make sure there still not hooked up to the radio those wires are fine they wont affect sound quality at all!!!!!!!!!!!!!
